Back on Earth (for cptn_j_kirk)

The Yorktown arrived back at Earth right on time, three weeks after picking up Jim and her 11 survivors from Tarsus. After a few bumps in the road and some adaption on the part of everyone the kids from Tarsus and the Yorktown's crew seemed to get along decently well. Pike made sure to make himself available for Jim as much as possible during the return trip. It seemed to help her some, as Pike never judged her for the decisions she'd made.

He didn't think he could say the same for the board of Admrials that currently sat in front of her, making a valiant attempt to debrief her. Pike sat in the back of the room watching everything unfold. All of the participants were getting frustrated and figured it was only a matter of time before one of the admirals put an end to this or Jim stormed out.

Pike hoped it was the former.
